CAP 18 ME® anaerobic bioremediation product has been specifically manufactured for environmental applications such as remediation of soils and associated groundwater. This new formulation is a non-emulsified vegetable oil product combined with methyl esters specifically manufactured for environmental applications such as remediation of groundwater by way of reductive chlorination. The addition of 10% by weight of methyl esters will ecrease the time it takes for the neat oils to begin to produce fatty acids for the reductive dechlorination to reach ideal levels. This newly formulated anaerobic bioremediation product can be used to degrade a variety of contaminants including chlorinated solvents, nitrates, sulfates, perchlorate, explosives, and other compounds found as contaminants in groundwater. This biostimulant is still a 100% carbon source that will provide a long term release of fatty acids for creating the required reducing conditions for bioremediation
